Farm-scale
We have a wide array of experience on farm layout and design in the Eastern USA and multiple countries having worked on other farms and built our own from scratch. Whether its putting in electric fences, where to site gardens and orchards, to helping you get prepared to stock farm animals, we can help you to make plans for beginning your farm or expanding it. Our focus is regenerative agriculture, seeking to increase the fertility, productivity and profit of the land and it's caretakers.
We specialize in SILVO-PASTURE installations, alley-cropping with trees and pasture renovation, small and large-scale.
Instead of attending a lot of classes or reading til your eyes are fuzzy, call us to have a personal workshop right at your home.
We do land clearing and orchard installations, too. Interested? email James, today.

The Shady Grove
Some people call it the 'back 40 acres' of woods to be managed for timber and firewood. Naturalists see the trees as wild land for animal habitat, others see a source of food. Whatever your desire for your forest is, whether it is 2 acres or twenty, we can help you to understand your options for management, for wildlife, and for recreation. We can help you to identify special areas of rich diversity also areas to be managed for your particular goals. In the end, we give you a designplan and report for your forest.
Trails
For six years, we have been developing a trail network on the hills around our farm in Marshall, complete with loops, switchbacks and signage. Only until recently, did we realize that in addition to doing forest assessment, Tree Identification and management plans for folks, did it make sense that trails are a major bonus to any patch of woods
